I thought I would pay homage to my former employer The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Norb Promo. I learned a lot when I was there and had great opportunities to gain some valuable experience.
This is where I found a niche with Twitter and managed to start my networking rolling. My friend Michelle Martin from the Office of Alumni Relations referred me to the Motor City Virtual Library and through Twitter I found a connection with Robyn Henderson from GMBlogs. She helped with a signature photo which is really classic.
Through this experience I also found the great things we might have lost about Detroit. Detroit was beautiful in the 1950s and the city was a happening place. I hope we find this again. I hope you enjoy a trip down memory lane with these photos.
